Furniture assembly
In-home IKEA ottoman assembly, hardware checked, assembled cleanly, and ready to use.
I'm Kyle. I run Lloyd's Local Services out of Newmarket, NH. I fix the annoying things around the house that sit broken because nobody knows who to call.
No mystery. Start with the problem and we'll figure out the simplest way forward.
Tell me what's going on. Message, form, photos, plain English — whatever makes the problem easiest to understand.
I figure out the right path. That might be a fix, a setup, better product choice, or identifying who actually needs to handle it.
You get the price before I start. Simple calls start at $50. Bigger or more technical work gets a straight quote before the work begins.
I test it before I leave. Working and checked — or, if it needs something outside my scope, you get clear next steps.
What you can expect when you call:
Home technology, smart home, assembly, practical problem-solving, and the jobs that don't fit neatly into one category. If it isn't listed, ask anyway.
TVs and streaming, remotes, Alexa and smart assistants, Wi-Fi, printers, phones, computers, and getting devices to work together. Setup, troubleshooting, and clear explanation without turning it into a bigger project than it needs to be.
Ring and Blink cameras and doorbells, smart plugs, speakers, and connected devices — product selection, setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and getting the system working together. If the project needs licensed electrical work, I'll say so and can help coordinate it.
Furniture, freestanding shelves and storage, equipment setup, and getting new gear out of the box and usable. I bring the right tools, check the hardware, and take the time to assemble it properly.
No permanent wall mounting.
Something isn't working, something is still in the box, or you simply don't know who to call. Start with the problem. If I can handle it, I will. If not, I'll help point you toward the right person.
I'm Kyle. I live in Newmarket and run Lloyd's Local Services myself. If you message the business, you're talking to me. If I take the job, I'm the one who shows up.
Before LLS, I spent eight years commercial fishing in New England, including offshore lobster, gillnet, and groundfish dragger work. It was hands-on work around equipment, long days, and problems that had to be figured out with what you had.
That background carries over well to what I do now: understand the problem, use the right tools, and get the job handled without making it more complicated than it needs to be.
I don't pretend to do work that belongs with a licensed trade. If that's what you need, I'll tell you. I can still help figure out who you need, find the right person, coordinate the work, and handle the parts that are in my lane.
A few examples of the kind of work I take on:
In-home IKEA ottoman assembly, hardware checked, assembled cleanly, and ready to use.
Home printer setup and troubleshooting — printing again the same day.
Researched equipment, compatibility, and available rebate or program options so the client could make a better-informed choice before spending.
Technology, property projects, product research, vendor sourcing, coordination, and follow-through for a local Durham resident.
Tell me what's going on. I'll tell you straight whether it looks like something I can handle and what the next step is. You'll get a quote before work starts.
